The Australian Constructors Association (ACA) launched the It’s Possible campaign to inspire women from other industries to switch to a career in construction. Many women in NSW already have skills and qualifications that transfer easily into construction roles.
This campaign helps women connect their desire for meaningful, well-paid, hands-on work, with real opportunities in construction. Instead of overwhelming them with too many options, it provides a clear and simple entry point into the industry.
Through behind-the-scenes experiences and site visits, the campaign builds confidence and makes the transition smoother. With over 2 million working women in NSW, our goal is to create a lasting increase in female participation in construction.
The It’s Possible campaign is supported by the NSW Government, which has invested $20.2 million in its Women in Construction Program. This initiative attracts and supports women entering the industry, particularly in trades and roles traditionally held by men.
